The difference between first (1st) quality carpet and second (2nd) quality Carpet and 3rd quality carpet

1st quality is when the carpet has no manufacturing defect and carries full manufacturing warranty. 2nd or 3rd quality (also known as off goods) is when the carpet has Manufacturing defects. For example the carpet backing has some delamination (backing is separating) or there are missing fibers. In general, Manufacturers do not provide any warranty on off goods. Aladdin Carpet & Floors do not sell any off goods.

Stainmaster carpet stays 30% cleaner and 50% longer than any other carpet. Stainmaster recommends that carpet be dry- or wet-extraction cleaned a minimum of every 12 or 18 months before it shows soiling.

If you do not clean your carpet within the minimum time recommended by the manufacture, then it gets soiled and looses its texture retention. Carpet and fiber manufactures require home owner to clean their carpet minimum of every 12 to 18 month for the warranties to remain valid.
